The Basic Differences in the K7 Series
The main differences in the K7 series can be found in three areas. Upon closer inspection, it first becomes apparent that the high-pressure guns can vary from model to model. Here you can find designations like Full Control, Power Control, or Smart Control. We will clarify what these mean later.
The second area where differences can be identified is the hose suspension. While the premium version offers a comfortable hose reel for winding the hose, versions without premium equipment have a simple hook at the back to hang the hose on.

Differences in the High-Pressure Guns of the K7
The K7 models are available with different high-pressure guns, which are crucial for the naming of the K7 sets.
The following high-pressure guns can be found:
- Full Control: The Full Control version is delivered with the G 145 Q FC pressure gun and shows the user the selected pressure level via LED display. Control directly on the gun handle is not possible. Instead, the pressure level is varied directly on the spray lance.
- Full Control Plus: In the Full Control Plus version, the Kärcher K7 is delivered with the G 180 Q Full Control Plus high-pressure gun. This offers an LCD display that shows the current cleaning level. There are also +/- buttons directly on the handle to control the pressure level. The settings are then transmitted wirelessly to the high-pressure cleaner.
- Power Control: The Power Control gun has a display on which the current pressure set on the device is displayed. Settings cannot be made on the handle, only on the attached attachment. As soon as the trigger of the gun is activated, the display changes according to the setting made. The Kärcher app can be used as an application advisor.
- Smart Control: The Smart Control high-pressure guns are the best-equipped high-pressure guns. They feature practical pressure adjustment and display on the gun handle and also a boost function (a temporary increase in pressure to remove stubborn dirt). The pressure can also be set via the Kärcher app, and suitable profiles can be transferred from the app to the high-pressure gun.
In some packages, the TLA 4 telescopic spray lance is also included, which serves as a practical extension, for example, for cleaning house facades.

Differences in Surface Cleaners
The Kärcher models are often found in the "HOME" equipment. This indicates that the Kärcher is delivered with a surface cleaner as an accessory. For the Kärcher K7, this is usually the T7 Plus surface cleaner, which is suitable for both ground surfaces and, thanks to practical handles, for vertical use. The T-Racer T7 Plus has the advantage over the T5 that it can also be used well in corners due to its shape.

Differences in the Lances
The Kärcher K7 is available with different lances. The K7 series is either delivered with the individual pipes Kärcher VP 180 Vario Power Jet and DB 180 Dirt Blaster or alternatively with the MJ 180 Full Control 3-in-1 Multi Jet (Link) with three spray types in one. Multi Jet or Individual Spray Pipes
Occasionally, it is criticized that the Multi Jet sprayers do not develop the same pressure as the individual spray pipes VP 180 and DB 180. They are also somewhat more prone to damage as they are composed of more individual components. However, the majority of buyers are very satisfied and convinced by the comfort of the Multi Jet nozzles. I personally also tend towards the Multi Jet variant. However, if you know that you mainly need one spray type and rarely change, then individual pipes are a good choice.

Occasionally, you can still find models with the designations Full Control and Full Control Premium. It is noticeable that the Kärcher logo is aligned differently on the "Full" models compared to the models offered in the Kärcher Shop (see also comparison Full Control vs. Power Control). This difference arises because the Full models with vertical logo still belong to the older generation of Kärcher high-pressure cleaners, which are no longer offered by Kärcher itself. However, there are no differences in terms of performance between the models. Only in the accessories and the high-pressure gun. Sometimes, the older T350 surface cleaner is delivered here.
Kärcher K7 vs. K7 WCM vs. K7 Compact
The new Kärcher WCM series is a reduced version of the Kärcher K7 focused on essentials. Externally, the different shape of the K7 WCM is immediately noticeable. Internally, WCM stands for the "Water Cooled Motor," which is considered durable and powerful. The WCM lacks the Plug'n'Clean cleaning device, app control, and all Control high-pressure guns. The K7 WCM is only available with the simple high-pressure gun without display and adjustment options on the handle.
The K7 Compact stands out compared to the classic Kärcher due to its compact dimensions, making it both more mobile and easier to store. This makes it a good alternative for longer camping trips compared to the larger sibling. In terms of performance, the K7 Compact is similar to the other K7 models. Like the K7 WCM, it has a water-cooled motor.
Is the Home & Garden App Worth It for the Kärcher K7?
It all depends on your user behavior. Anyone who uses the Kärcher frequently in different application areas will find a quick way to find the right settings and transfer them to the device through the app. This makes the system very user-friendly. However, if you use the Kärcher only in a few areas, you can usually quickly remember which settings are needed. In that case, using the app and establishing a connection takes more valuable time. For starters, the application advisor in the Power Control version is an advantage.
The app also allows access to user data, such as the amount of water consumed, water temperature, and average application duration, providing additional value.
