In this comparison, I contrast the seemingly identical Roborock Qrevo S and QV35A models and clarify what advantages the newer model has over its predecessor.
Roborock Qrevo S vs. QV35A – Brief, Practical Comparison

Practical Price Tip: Both models are especially worthwhile when on sale. Above approximately $500 (≈ under €470 as a reasonable deal target), the value decreases because premium features are missing (e.g., hot water mop washing, smarter dirt detection).
What Both Can Do
- Navigation: LiDAR with room maps, scheduled cleaning, and no-go zones
- Dock Functions: Fresh/dirty water tank, mop pad washing, mop lift over carpet
- Mop Features: 0–30 wetness levels, internal water tank, water application to pads

My Impression from Usage
In daily use, I notice the QV35A's suction power advantage especially on low-pile carpet and with crumbs. The reactive obstacle avoidance of both is okay, but cables and flat toys remain stumbling blocks – camera or 3D recognition is missing. When mopping, both are very similar; the difference comes after the cleaning cycle: The Qrevo S dries noticeably faster in 2–3 hours thanks to warm air and therefore smells musty less often. Those with long hair in the household additionally benefit from the QV35A's anti-tangle side brush.
"Honestly QV35a is newer and cheaper. More suction and anti-tangle side brush. I ended up buying the QV35a, it's great overall!"

Generally, the QV35A is a newer version within the Q-series with dual mops, LiDAR, and 8,000 Pa.
Pros and Cons for Each Model
Roborock QV35A
- Higher suction power (~8,000 Pa) for this class
- Anti-tangle side brush – better for long hair
- Very good price-performance ratio on sale
- Only room air drying (6–8 h) – mops stay wet longer
- Reactive, not "smart" obstacle avoidance
- No replacement for deep cleaning on high-pile carpet
Roborock Qrevo S
- Warm air drying (2–3 h) – more hygienic and ready faster
- Solid all-rounder with identical dock setup
- Same LiDAR/mapping functions as QV35A
- Lower suction power (~7,000 Pa)
- Standard brush reaches corners less well
- High list price – hardly any added value over €500

Does the difference between 8,000 vs. 7,000 Pa make much difference?
Slightly, yes: The QV35A picks up granular material and dust on carpet noticeably better. Still, don't expect miracles – for deep carpet, a powerful handheld vacuum remains useful.

How important is faster mop drying?
If you mop daily or want to avoid odors, the Qrevo S's warm air is more practical. Those who only mop every few days can live with 6–8 hours on the QV35A.
My Purchase Recommendation
If under €500: The Roborock QV35A is the price-performance winner – more suction power and better hair handling for less money.
If fast, hygienic mop drying is priority: Take the Qrevo S, but only if the price is under ~€500 (has been on sale for €479 several times).
At full list price – especially for the Qrevo S – I would wait. In this price range, premium features are missing (hot water mop washing, more intelligent obstacle recognition) that would justify the premium.
